Jesus calls us as disciples to be “the servants of all” and tells us that “even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” Mark 9:35 and Matthew 20:28

One of our church’s key ongoing objectives is to provide the opportunity for staff, covenant partners, and the community to employ their gifts, talents, skills, money, energy, and time in sharing God’s love and truth with others in compassionately serving our community and the world through missions.

We offer the opportunity for interested people to respond to Jesus’ commandment to “love your neighbors as yourself” and partner with our church in carrying out God’s mission in the world through benevolent giving and personal participation in showing Christ’s compassion and love to the sick, the poor and those in need.

n addition, through mission work, participants have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the work and witness of local faith communities;
  • Build relationships with area Christians, other people of faith, and with each other;
  • Serve with members of the local community to meet local needs;
  • Experience another context in which the Christian faith is practiced;
  • Worship with local congregations, and;
  • Reflect on the mission team experience in light of the gospel.

Please refer to the Missions Listings page for information regarding planned mission activities and giving opportunities.

For those interested in participating in a mission trip, please contact the church office at 281.360.5555 for additional information.

We look forward to you joining us in carrying out the work of God the Father and sharing his love and truth with others!
